VALE Bob Neville

valeBN2020To our football friends,

It is with extreme sadness that we share with you the news that our Life Member Bob Neville, passed away on Sunday morning (02/08/2020).

Many of you would have known Bob well.

It is hard to describe what Bob was to Greystanes FC, other than to say that Bob WAS Greystanes FC.

Bob has been with Greystanes FC since the very beginning, 50 years ago.

He was part of our committee since 1977 and our club treasurer for over 30 consecutive years, only stepping aside 2 seasons ago for health reasons, and over the years filled many other roles at our Club and local Parks Committees. His dedication to our community saw him earn many accolades from sporting, community and government bodies alike.

He was our father figure, whose kindness, patience and leadership has guided our club for many, many years.

Our condolences go to his wife Colleen and family at this very sad time

He will be forever in our hearts……
