We hope you are all well and coping with lockdown.
Sadly but understandably Granville and Districts Soccer Football Association (GDSFA, www.granvillesoccer.com.au) have followed Football NSW (FNSW, footballnsw.com.au) and abandoned the season. The Phoenix League (@phoenixwleague, Blacktown and Districts Soccer Football Association, bdsfa.com) was abandoned two weeks ago and all players were advised via email. GDSFA will do something similar next week.
We understand these are challenging times for everyone so we encourage you (players and parents) to please reach out if you are struggling. Your teams and our club, is a big family so please don’t hesitate to contact us if needed.
GDSFA advises that refunds can’t be determined for a few weeks while they wait for FNSW advice. The Phoenix League email made a similar statement so we will have to wait a while, unfortunately.
Summer Football
We intend to run summer football again this year, hopefully starting late September or early October pending restrictions being relaxed as vaccination levels increase. Separate communication will come out on this.
