Vale Graham Crawhall

Vale Graham Crawhall

Greystanes FC Life Member, Graham Crawhall (affectionately known as GC) was laid to rest (Thursday 27th April).

GC was a bona fide Club legend who was a dear friend to many current and previous Club members.

GC was a very early and long-standing committee member, as well as a manager of Champion of Champions winning teams and our state league teams for close to 16 years.

Probably the clubs most winningest manager ever.

GC went on to work for FNSW for nearly 10 years and then successfully managed teams at Blacktown City for many years (from youth to 1st division), stepping down recently because of ill health. For anyone involved in Football Administration or Management, GC was a benchmark; a yardstick by which you measure yourself. GC always carried himself with style, grace, and a smile.

Our thoughts are with GC’s wife Carol, Son Stevie, Daughter Kim, and their families.

GC’s son Stevie played at Greystanes for many years and is a member of the 500-game player honour role.

All full-size field teams are asked to wear black arm bands in honour of GC’s life this weekend, with senior teams also observing a minute’s silence prior to kick off.

Rest in peace GC.
