Q: When can I register to play at Greystanes FC.

A: Online Registration and payment is open from early January for returning and new players. From end of January for in-person registration for new players only.

Q: I want to register to play at Greystanes FC. Is it too late?

A: Online Registration and payment is open for each age group/team until all positions are filled at which point no more registrations are accepted.
Keep an eye out for our updates as occasionaly positions became available after registrations are closed and prior to season commencement.

 Greystanes FC Inc. | Formerly known as Greystanes Soccer Club. Local community amateur football club catering to players from under 5 to over 45 years old within the suburb of Greystanes & surrounding suburbs (Cumberland City Council LGA, NSW Australia). GFC fields teams in the GDSFA (mixed teams) and BDSFA (Phoenix Women's League) competitions.
The club was established in 1970 and currently, has approximately 800 registered players. It is run by a volunteer committee.

 Granville and Districts Soccer Football Association | Governing body for football clubs within the Cumberland Council LGA and City of Parramatta LGA.
Established in 1900, the GDSFA is Australia’s oldest football soccer association and is affliated with FNSW.

 Granville District Football Referees Association | The GDFRA provides referring services to GDSFA and affiliated clubs.
The referees' association was established in 1908.

 Football NSW | Governing body for football in the state of New South Wales (Australia), except the northern regions of NSW.
FNSW is a member of the national governing body, FFA.

 Football Australia | Governing body for Football in Australia, overseeing the state governing bodies for football.
FA is a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
Formerly, a member of the OFC.  Formerly, Football Federation Australia.

 The Asian Football Confederation | Governing body of football in Asia and Australia. The AFC is a member of FIFA.

 ASEAN Football Federation | A smaller organisation within the greater AFC and centres on Southeast Asia but includes East Timor and Australia, which are not members of ASEAN.

 Association of Southeast Asian Nations | Regional intergovernmental organization comprising ten countries in Southeast Asia.

 Fédération Internationale de Football Association | International governing body of football It is the highest governing body of football in the world. FIFA is made up of 211 national associations and six continental confederations. Each national association is also a member of a confederation

 Cumberland City Council | LGA located approximately 25kms from Sydney CBD (NSW, Australia). Home to GDSFA clubs & grounds and neighbouring the City of Parramatta and Blacktown City Council. Greystanes FC's local government.

 Holroyd City Council | Former LGA). Now known as Cumberland Council after amalgamation with the Auburn Council. It get its name from first mayor, Arthur Holroyd.

 Member Protection Information Officer | GFC club official, acts as the first point of contact for assistance with protection & safety issues.

 The Bureau of Meteorology | An Executive Agency of the Australian Government responsible for providing weather services to Australia and surrounding areas. It was established in 1906 with Australian state governments officially transfering their weather recording responsibilities to the Bureau of Meteorology on 1 January 1908.

 Ultraviolet Index | The ultraviolet index is an international standard measurement of the strength of sunburn-producing ultraviolet (UV) radiation at a particular place and time. The UV Index is a tool you can use to protect yourself from UV radiation. The World Health Organization's Global Solar UV Index measures UV levels on a scale from 0 (Low) to 11+ (Extreme). Sun protection is recommended when UV levels are 3 (Moderate) or higher.

 Air Quality Index | The Air quality index (AQI) is used to show how polluted the air currently is. The Australian scale ranges from 0 (very good) to 200+ (hazardous to health).

MPIO | member protection information officer

Greystanes FC has a Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO). The role of the MPIO is to be the first point of contact for anyone with an enquiry or concern about a member protection issue.  The MPIO is a sounding board for these concerns and can offer information on complaint resolution, policies and other aspects of the issue being discussed.  The MPIO does not offer advice, suggestions or recommendations and the MPIO does not investigate complaints or reports.  It is the responsibility of the Club (President and/or Executive) to decide who investigates complaints or reports but it should never be the MPIO who conducts the investigation.
