Notice for Community Sports Spectators

Please find a link to a letter from the Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant, who has written to all Community Sporting Organisations requesting that additional measures be taken to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

It is important that the football family supports the NSW Government and the broader community, by continuing to promote the limiting of spectators, and encouraging participants to check if they have attended any of the affected venues. This is effective immediately and is vital for the successful continuation of our competitions throughout the state.

Football NSW is working with the Office of Sport and all of our Associations and Clubs, in updating our COVID-19 Safety Plan template to reflect the new directives, and once this is done we will share it widely as soon as possible, in readiness for this weekend’s activities.
